• 8:30am Shuttle departs Whitewater Inn for PPJ rail bed.
• Directions to the Covered Bridge (van will meet there). 14km
• Optional shuttle to Les Chutes Park. (or bike). Note: on paved road shoulder. (7km)
• Entrance to Park.
• Optional shuttle back to PPJ Rail bed in Fort Coulonge. (7km)
• Pick up in Shawville at Pontiac Bakery. (36km). Shuttle back to Whitewater Inn.

Payments are fully refundable up to 2 days prior to departure, minus a $15/person admin fee.
There are no refunds 0-2 days prior to the tour departure.
A minimum of 2 participants are required for the tour to operate.

In the event that you can not attend a trip and someone will be taking your place, please advise us of the name change in advance.
Itinerary
Beachburg Arrival: The Whitewater Inn - 1739 Beachburg Rd.
8:30am Welcome to beautiful Beachburg! We load up bikes and packs into the van and cross over the interprovincial bridge to La Belle Province – Quebec. Here you start on the PPJ rail bed trail and ride along the Ottawa River towards Fort Coulonge. Your guide will meet you with the van at the historic covered bridge in Fort Coulonge. Here you may choose to shuttle or ride to Les Chutes park. The van will meet you at the park so you can change your shoes to hike around the platforms for some impressive views of the waterfalls and Coulonge gorge. Visit the little museum showcasing bygone era logging artifacts and enjoy the old photographs hanging. You will be shuttled or ride to Fort Cologne for your lunch and then continue on the PPJ rails trail to the quaint town of Shawville. Your pick up is at the Pontiac Home Bakery. You will be shuttled from Shawville back to the Whitewater Inn. Perhaps you'll want to add a night stay at the Inn?

Welcome to our 5-bedroom Inn. The Whitewater Inn is also the main office for Valley Cycle Tours/Jamieson Travel. Each room has a private ensuite, air conditioning, mini fridge, coffee service, , unlimited wifi and sitting area. Onsite sauna, hot tub and cold plunge as well!!
