Booking Details
All Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars.
A $500 per person deposit is required for all trips at the time of booking.
Deposits are fully refundable up to 14 days prior to departure, minus a $50/person admin fee.
There are no refunds 0-7 days prior to the tour departure.
Please book your tour at least 14 days prior to trip departure to secure accommodation.
Balances are due 14 days prior to tour departure.
A minimum of 5 participants are required for the tour to operate.
Cancellation insurance can be purchased at time of booking.

All tours are transferable.
In the event that you can not attend a trip and someone will be taking your place, please advise us of the name change in advance.
Our Accommodations
The Whitewater Inn
Welcome to our 5-bedroom Inn. The Whitewater Inn is also the main office for Valley Cycle Tours/Jamieson Travel. Each room has a private ensuite, air conditioning, mini fridge, coffee service, microwave, unlimited wifi and sitting area. A hearty breakfast is served each morning from 7am until 8:30am.
Itinerary
Day 1: Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025.
Beachburg Arrival
3:00pm - 6:00pm. Welcome to beautiful Beachburg! After you are checked into your room we will have an orientation of the Inn; your home for the next four nights. Relax at the inn - perhaps have a sauna or hot tub before we have dinner this evening.
6:00pm 3 course dinner is served made with fresh locally grown produce. An orientation/description of the next fews days will be discussed over dinner.

Day 2: Monday, Aug. 25, 2025.
Beachburg – Ottawa River – Lookout - (30KM)
Today you explore Whitewater Region! You ride scenic roads showcasing award winning farms and the famous rapids of the Ottawa River. Lunch is at a converted dairy barn now restaurant. From there, you continue to the local scenic Lookout before returning to your accommodations at The Whitewater Inn.

Day 3: Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025,
The Pontiac – PPJ – Chutes - Shawville (45KM)
After a hearty breakfast, we load up into the van and cross over the interprovincial bridge to La Belle Province – Quebec. Here we start on the PPJ rail bed trail and ride along the Ottawa River towards Fort Coulonge. A stop at the impressive Chutes de Coulonge will be made to view the waterfalls and enjoy some history of the log drive era in the museum. After lunch in Fort Cologne you continue on the PPJ rails trail to the quaint town of Shawville, where your pick up is at a bakery or pub. You will be shuttled from Shawville back to our accommodation for dinner. Perhaps you'll enjoy the sauna or hot tub this evening?

Day 4: Wednesday.
Cobden - Douglas Farm stands - Caves - Eganville (25km)
Today you start in Cobden taking back roads towards Mennonite country - Douglas. The van will meet us at the abundant Mennonite operated farm stands/store. You are welcome to purchase some preserves or perhaps some produce to take home with you. Then onward to the Bonnechere caves and enjoy a tour of the underground Caves. You finish your ride in Eganville at a cafe overlooking the Bonnechere River - don't forget to watch for the Highland cattle at a farm enroute. We end our day with another magnificent meal at the Inn.

After breakfast we say good bye. Perhaps you would like to stay in the area and visit some other attractions or try whitewater rafting? We can certainly help with other arrangements for you!

This itinerary is van supported with a guide. A guide will not always ride with the group, as they will drop off riders/bikes and then shuttle the van ahead waiting for the group to arrive at the next stop/destination on the daily map.
