This tour is a cyclist’s dream! Enjoying the beautiful scenery and fun hospitality of the Ottawa Valley. Welcome to our cozy Inn located in the small Village of Beachburg. After breakfast at the Inn, we head out for a day of riding and exploring before returning home each afternoon for dinner. We travel to some of the best (and hidden) gems of the Ottawa Valley!

Welcome to our 5-bedroom Inn. The Whitewater Inn is also the main office for Valley Cycle Tours/Jamieson Travel. Each room has a private ensuite, air conditioning, mini fridge, coffee service, microwave, unlimited wifi and sitting area. A hearty breakfast is served each morning from 7am until 8:30am.
Day 1: Monday, Arrival Day.
Beachburg – Ottawa River – Lookout - (30KM)
Welcome to beautiful Beachburg! After you are checked into your room we will have an orientation of the Inn; your home for the next four nights. This afternoon we will depart on a local ride to warm up our legs. We ride scenic roads showcasing award winning farms and the beautiful O'Brien Winery for a tour. We will stop in along the Ottawa River to view the famous whitewater rapids of the mighty Ottawa. From there we will continue to the local Lookout before returning to your accommodations at The Whitewater Inn.

Day 2: Tuesday.
The Pontiac – PPJ – Chutes - Shawville (60KM)
After a hearty breakfast, we load up into the van and cross over the interprovincial bridge to La Belle Province – Quebec. Here we start on the PPJ rail bed trail and ride along the Ottawa River towards Fort Coulonge. A stop at the impressive Chutes de Coulonge will be made to view the waterfalls and enjoy some history of the log drive era in the museum. Lunch will be a stop in Campbell’s Bay at the old train station called “La Jonction”. Then we continue our way to the quaint town of Shawville, where we visit the Little Red Wagon Winery for a tour and tasting. We shuttle from Shawville back to our accommodation for dinner. Perhaps you’d like enjoy our sauna this evening?

Day 3: Wednesday.
Calabogie – Mount Saint Patrick – Holy Well – Eagles Nest (30km of riding & 2.5km of hiking)
Today after breakfast we depart by van to Calabogie. We will warm up our legs with a short hike to take in the wonderful views at “The Eagles Nest”. Next we ride an amazing loop passing by old forests and farms with old stone fences. Learn a little history today as you see what a settler was given for immigrating to Canada and what they had to fulfill to earn their 100 acres of land! We visit the Holy Well in Mount St. Patrick known to visitors for healing the wounded and sick. (You can take a little bottle with you). Then over the Kennelly hills back returning to our van and a wardrobe change for dinner in Calabogie.

Day 4: Thursday.
Eganville (25km)
Today we start our day on the banks of the Bonnechere River. We park the van at the Bonnechere caves and enjoy a tour of the Bonnechere Caves before we start our ride. Our ride today showcases beautiful gravel roads that pass by picture perfect farms. We see Highland cattle and many other 4 legged friends. We visit town of Eganville for lunch overlooking the Bonnechere River and continue our ride to Ottawa Valley Farm to Form for a special meal harvested from their land! Meals: (B,D)
